It is sad to lose our friend Dr. Robert Brundage,
for the world a (true humanitarian). I became aquainted with Robert Brundage for a period of
time in 2008, when I was a resident artist at the Collingwood Art
Center. I accepted a
commission that was initiated by Peter Van Schoek, a loved Poet Laureate
of the Old West End in Toledo, a friend of Robert Brundage.
Robert and I had several meetings before and during this portrait
commission. It was apparent
to me, he was graciously embued, a high spirit, such a giving person was
Robert Brundage. In the few
conversations that we had he had expressed to me, how much he cared for
our environment. He earned
a Doctorate as a scholar in important fields, Music and Science.
With his big heart he did excel, all to the benefit of humankind.
All of Toledo and friends from the globe, we must sadly accept an
insurmountable loss, all of mankind must mourn this senseless untimely,
sad violent death of Dr. Robert Brundage with forgiveness, for he had so
much love and faith in all of us. |
