Portrait of Irene Hess... Oil Portrait Demonstration
An
oil portrait demonstration, a grisaille in oil, of the
Late Beloved University of Michigan's Irene Hess. A
grisaille, is an underpainting of a commissioned oil portrait.
For the underpainting I have chosen, to use burnt umber as my
darkest tone, burnt sienna for the middle tones and white to
make a tonal value study of this subject. The work is
underway and more images will be available from the portrait
studio of Lisabelle...

Invited to exhibit and to do Charcoal Portrait Sketches, I met so many
wonderful people in two days at Karaoke New Mexico Championship 2009 in
beautiful Truth or
Consequences, NM, (Land of Enchantment). Hot Springs, Art
Galleries great all year round! Did so many charcoal portrait
sketches of people all who I wish to thank.: "adorable little
ballerina" "Johnny", "Dave", Brother and
Sister, "Karen", a handsome Young Couple... a great time had
by all. |
